GAMING VIEWS IN FOSTERING

Many Cats has a strong relationship with the children's care sector especially fostering, so we set out on a mission to improve how the games industry and fostering sector interact with each other.

"Having worked for over 3 years for fostering and adoption services I was always happy to see the common link between most looked after children was their passion for gaming." says Chris of Many Cats. "However, a lot of carers and staff have a limited scope of what video games can do and so develop a lot of stereotypical negative views about gaming, we want to change this and give people the tools they need to be effective parents and carers."


As gaming is on the rise, especially during lockdown, it is important for carers and staff to understand how they can use video games are a learning tool.
