Nickie has scored more accolades from her past year of work with Many Cats after being shortlisted for a Women in Games award in March.
Nickie is shortlisted with some talented folk in the 'Community Hero' award at the Games Dev Heroes 2022. The awards received over 850 nominations in their fifth year and Nickie was lucky enough to be selected in the shortlist.
The Game Dev Heroes is about celebrating the people behind the scenes in the industry. Highlighting the unsung heroes working in the industry, the awards is reviewed by a panel of developers and professionals in the industry. Nickie will find out if she wins in July during Develop:Brighton.

Additionally, she has made the shortlist of 'Tomorrow's Star' for the annual Develop Star Awards, hosted during Develop: Brighton in July. The Awards are described as "All about the game dev community celebrating the creative excellence of the game makers behind the best games of the previous 12 months".
